Bergamo Orio al Serio (BGY) — marketed as Milan Bergamo — is Ryanair’s main Italian base and one of Europe’s busiest low-cost airports. To Milan: shuttle bus (most common option)
The most popular way to reach Milan from Bergamo airport is the Autostradale express coach to Milano Centrale station.

To Milan: bus + train combination
For a slightly different route, take the local ATB bus from the airport to Bergamo bus station or railway station, then a regional train to Milano Centrale.

ATB Bus (line 1): Airport to Bergamo bus station/city centre, approximately 15 minutes, approximately €2 as of 2026. The medieval upper city (Città Alta) is a further funicular ride from the lower town.
